When participants in the holiday celebration moved away from the display to take part in the ceremony honoring Victory and Independence Day, KGB officers approached the exhibit. Five men in identical poses are studying the material. We can be sure they learned quite a bit! To the left of the documents honoring Jews, heroes of the war with Nazi Germany, one can see that part of the exhibit which showed 100 postcards with views of Israel. These were collected by Iona Schwartzman who had received them by mail from relatives and friends, at her request.
