2nd Festival of Jewish Song, Sukkot, 1979.
More participants attended this time and there were a lot of young people in the audience. The symbolic sukkah served as a “hall” for the festival. Pine tree branches hung on ropes. Policemen were standing behind the branches (they can be seen in the background to the left). Refuseniks were scattered throughout the audience. At the “wall” of the sukkah (in the center) is the boy Sasha Kremen. Next to him are his mother, Galya Kremen, and Galya Gurevich. In the second row (left), sitting looking attentively at the “stage” is Kira Razgon, a singer who attended all of the festivals. In the first row (right), in profile, without a hat, is Lenochka Gurevich.
