In Memoriam

This page contains obituaries of a number of outstanding activists in the Soviet Jewry movement, both within the confines of the USSR and in Israel and the West. Though operating in different arenas, they were united in their selfless struggle for a brighter future for the Jewish people. The years of common struggle resulted in strong bonds of friendship, which often lasted until death did them part.  Therefore, we gather words of farewell to all these heroes on one memorial, a shared testament to the giants who shaped that historic era.
